To combat this rise in illness and other health related complications health agencies and governments have come up with elaborate strategies that are aimed at ensuring effective mitigation strategies are implemented are in place to ensure those complications do not eat up the entire humanity and hence they have come up with specialized programmes that are meant to educate and offer medical attention to the people to help get rid of those complications (Mauk & Schmidt, 2004). Nursing is a very competitive field that is constantly changing to be at par with the current health care related unfolding in the world. Thus as a registered nurse it will be my duty to ensure I strive to advance my education to gather more skills and knowledge in the field not only for accreditation purposes and job rank advancement but to enable me be at a better position to solve the health problems that the society is facing in the twenty-first century (Judd & Davis, 2010).
